Everyone had one of these in Boulder CO where I used to live years ago, but I forgot about them and was reintroduced to it in Italy. I brought back a portion of my espresso and hope I can find more in LA, when I run out. The fresh Italian whole milk I heated up to add was incredible, as was where I sat to drink it.

The weather has cooled down and seeing this made me feel all warm inside. I think I am going to get out my little pot today and sit quietly with my espresso this afternoon. Lovely little painting and a wonderful job on the metal!

ReplyDeleteI have one of these I haven't used in ages (although mine hasn't as slim a waist as yours). The idea of putting whole milk in it sounds so decadent and delicious after my usual nonfat lattes. I'm going to pull mine out and make a decaf latte with it tomorrow. I hope the rubber gaskets are still ok.
