Olive sprigs

Some olive trees on the organic farm where I stayed in Montefollonico, Italy and a page from my sketchbook. The wonderful people who own the farm saw this watercolor and wanted it for the olive oil label. So, I painted a few sprigs like this so they could pick which one they wanted.

  3. Beautiful, Dee - I can see why they wanted it for their label. I do hope this means a bottle of the new oil will be finding its way to you.

These olive sprigs are heavenly. They look so succulent. Are they edible as is or do they have to go through a lengthy process before they're edible?
