  1. Dee, this is stunning. The paint application is absolutely superb. I take my hat off to you. And it also looks as though you really enjoyed doing it---I can't explain why or how I get that feeling, but a deep sense of serenity radiates from this painting.

  2. I found something similarly fascinating in photographing crabapple trees in my back lot. Something about the purples, blues and greens, or maybe the quirks of digital cameras. One photograph I have seems to really "get the colored lights going" inside my head. This on your olives seems to capture that magic in nature.

  3. WOW! That's stunning.

It must be close to a year since I failed to meet up with you Dee. Still regretting that.

  4. Thank you all. I need to paint this detailed kind of painting when I'm not able to devote full days in my studio. Have been taking alot of computer workshops lately but need a "nonthinking" piece to work on when I get home. Just to pick up a real paintbrush.
Robyn.. yes almost a year- but we were working too hard on the farm to do much else besides eat well and drink amazing organic wine..... We'll be back next october though and we'll have to meet up!
