Watercolor on Arches HP, 23x45". This is a new watercolor that I worked on for three months while holding a full time job at Disney. I was working on a project called "Princess Stories" and although this teenager is very beautiful, I didn't want her to look quite so princess-like.
Stunning! I'm really happy you posted these with the large size available to see too. Seeing the small size it's easy to think it's all very detailed and tightly done, but the enlarged view shows just how loose much of the painting is. Are there many layers of glazing on the skin?
