women looking left

weather sketchbook. The wind is horrid, and I'm trying to hide out in a coffee shop.

    Dee,
I've enjoyed visiting your blog and LOVE your watercolors. What an inspiration - I shall follow your work carefully as I try to learn by myself.

I keep coming back to these elegant and graceful sketches, Dee. They, while being wholly YOU, remind me a bit of the ink and wash drawings of Ronald Searles (hope I've spelled his name right.) Are you familiar with his work? You'd really like it, I think.

  3. Hi Dee, thanks for visiting my blog. This is my first time over here at yours. I love the idea of a weather journal. The focus on this one particular aspect of the day somehow makes it seem more intimate - can't find the words really, I mean 'in the moment', that kind of zen centering thing - and paradoxically the clip from the paper makes it more so.

Anyway enough blah blah blah, I like it! Your sketches are great!
