This is a watercolor 17 x 45" on Arches Hot Press.It was done in studio from photos and a rough sketch. It's morning at Paramount Ranch in the Santa Monica Mountains, the annual topanga banjo/fiddle contest and folk festival that happens in May.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous watercolor and such interesting composition with the softer focus foreground and all the details in the mid-ground. I'd love to see it full size and check out all the people and their instruments I bet you can even hear the music if you listen closely!
