Descanso Garden

A flowering cherry tree at Descanso Garden in La Canada Flintridge. This place is beautiful in February. Watercolor on Strathmore Plate Bristol. 30x22". I love this paper because the watercolor just sits on top of the surface.

  5. Now that's a painting! What a beauty. It has such depth that it resembles an oil painting. I love the fluid lines of the branches and the grasses. What a treat to see and very inspiring!
